Dr. Melissa Koberlein is a professor of communication and publishing in eastern Pennsylvania where she lives with her husband and their two daughters. There, she teaches courses in communication, pathways to publication for the aspiring author and self-publishing. She’s also the host of the Indie Chicks podcast, a show dedicated to publishing advice for writers. She writes novels that explore the worlds of tech, aliens and space with humor and heart. Her passion for stories comes from an imaginative childhood where every day ended with a book. Her recent novel, "Ashwater," explores what it means to be human when you’ve got a CPU for a brain. Her new book is "Mystics (Fireflies)."
