Linda Smock (Linda Ann Casey Smock) is a retired teacher of 40 years. She was born in Newark, New Jersey, married and had 3 children while she taught in Christian Schools for 10 years in New Jersey. Then in 1984 she moved from New Jersey to Mesa, Arizona with her three boys, for a teaching job in Mesa. She taught in the Mesa Unified Schools for 25 years many grades from 2nd to 6th. After retiring she continued to work with children that have reading difficulties and continues to do so.
Since 2015 she has been writing children’s books. She uses the names of real animals from her family and friends and their unique personalities in the book. Ringo has been the lead Chihuahua in many of the books. Norbie has begun to appear in some of the newer books. Ringo, Cupcake, and Cookie are Chihuahua’s. Norbie is a Rat Terrier and Tahoe is a Husky. Cocoa Bean is a Yorkie. Linda has written 12 books as of the moment. All the animals are in cartoon form for all young children to enjoy.
