Sallie M Cochren

Sallie Cochren has always enjoyed writing creatively and often spent her free time as a child writing short stories for fun. She taught middle school Language Arts for 16 years and one of her greatest joys was seeing her students develop a love for writing also. Sallie enjoys writing in different genres. While many of her plots involve sinister characters and a suspenseful or scary mood, there are many other genres that she loves writing as well. She has begun writing two trilogies and has published the first book in each series. "Check Mate" is a post-apocalyptic thriller and "Alien Cats: No Place Like Home" is a humorous science fiction fantasy. Her next projects include writing the second book in each of these trilogies. When Sallie isn't busy writing, some of her other hobbies include movies, nature, pets and photography.
