George McGaughey

Poet and writer George McGaughey grew up in Colorado, but also called El Paso, Texas home for many years. After retirement, he traveled the U.S. and Canada in his RV for four years, accompanied by his artist wife, Peggy, his trusty fly rod, and an unquenchable thirst for adventure.

He and Peggy now live full time in Green Valley, Arizona with their cat, Polly.

In addition to his novels, McGaughey is the author of the children’s series, Mouse Tales, illustrated by Betsy Hoyt Feinberg.

“Ireland is beckoning your imagination,” said the brochure. These words take Sean to Ireland to find a world of unexpected mythical characters. This trilogy of “Across the Ridgeline," "Back Across the Ridgeline" and "Going Home Across the Ridgeline” is a search for his true home. Within this dangerous journey he discovers the mysteries of life the he seeks.
