Amelia Marie Whalen

Though my art, especially my book, I encourage people to let go of fear and allow love. My experiences have taught me to face death and grief with an open heart.

I cherish my community and am honored to share my art!

I've scripted three plays that have been staged by the social justice theater group, Rising Action. I've been a technical writer and editor for over a decade.

I studied English and art in school, and rock and trails all my life.

I'm a rock climber, mountain bike rider and adventurer. I work as an adventure guide here in Tucson. I'm a NOLS Wilderness Medicine Institute certified Wilderness First Responder and an American Mountain Guide Association certified Single Pitch Instructor.
