Carol Moldaw is an American poet and the author of seven books of poetry including "Go Figure," "Beauty Refracted," and "The Lightning Field," winner of the 2002 FIELD Prize. The recipient of an NEA Creative Writing Fellowship, a Pushcart Prize, and a Lannan Foundation Residency Fellowship, she was an artist-in-residence at the Merwin Conservancy in Maui, Hawaii, in 2022. She lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

In this session, two acclaimed women will share their innovative approaches to poetry. In a discussion of poetic craft, influences, and futures, panelists will read from their new books and explore the intersections of gender, sexuality, form, voice, and language. (Unfortunately, Felicia Zamora will not be taking part in this session as originally planned.)
