Sally Ball



Deanna Dent

Sally Ball is the author of "Wreck Me" and "Annus Mirabilis." Her new book "Hold Sway" is forthcoming in 2019. Her poems have appeared in The American Poetry Review, Harvard Review, Ploughshares, Tin House, Scoundrel Time and elsewhere. An associate professor of English at Arizona State University, Ball is also an associate director of Four Way Books, the independent press based in New York City. She has received fellowships from the Arizona Commission on the Arts, the Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference, CAMAC Centre d’Art, the James Merrill House, the Ucross Foundation and the Virginia G. Piper Center for Creative Writing. In July 2018, she taught in the MFA Program for Writers at Warren Wilson College.
