Cathi Hanauer is the New York Times bestselling author of three novels: "Gone," "Sweet Ruin" and "My Sister’s Bones." She also published two anthologies, "The Bitch in the House" and "The Bitch is Back," which was an NPR Best Book of 2016. It led to her TED talk about women, work, and motherhood. Cathi and her husband, Daniel Jones, co-founded the popular Modern Love column in the New York Times. She has contributed articles, essays, and reviews to Elle, O, Real Simple, Self, Glamour, Refinery 29, and other publications. She earned her MFA in creative writing at the University of Arizona and now lives in Northampton, MA and New York City.
