Michael Perry is a New York Times best-selling author, humorist, playwright and radio show host from rural Wisconsin. His works include the memoirs "Population 485," “Montaigne in Barn Boots: An Amateur Ambles Through Philosophy,” "Truck: A Love Story," and novel "The Jesus Cow." Perry performs widely as a humorist, hosts the nationally syndicated Tent Show Radio, and tours with his band, the Long Beds. His essays and nonfiction pieces have appeared in New York Times Magazine, Esquire, Backpacker and Runner's World.
