Robots are Taking Over the World

The future of robots is here, and kids are fully engaged. This panel will talk about real, potential and fictional uses of robots and the ways in which kids can be involved in robotics. Chris Gall's "NanoBots" features a young inventor of miniature robots, while Jennifer Swansons' "Everything Robots" introduces the field of robotics. Dalziel will share how kids are building their own robots.

Dalziel Dominguez

Dalziel Dominguez is from Yuma, AZ and has worked as a tutor in public and private settings with kids of all ages in mathematics. He is a collaborator at the IDEA School in Tucson. Dalziel is also interested in sustainable farming practices and has completed urban renewal programs....

Chris Gall

Chris Gall is an award-winning, internationally recognized illustrator. In 2004, his first picture book, "America the Beautiful," became a Publishers Weekly Best Children’s Book of the Year and his career in children’s publishing began....

Jennifer Swanson

Jennifer Swanson is the award-winning author of more than 25 non-fiction books for children.
