Four of our most gifted authors -- Leif Enger, T. Greenwood, Brandon Hobson and Ann Weisgarber -- will explore how they develop characters who are genuine, authentic and relatable. Do their characters help these authors learn more about themselves? Let's ask!

Leif Enger

Leif Enger was raised in Osakis, Minnesota, and worked as a reporter and producer for Minnesota Public Radio before writing his best-selling debut novel "Peace Like a River" which was one of the Los Angeles Times and Time Magazine’s Best Books of the Year....

T. Greenwood

T. Greenwood's novels have sold over 250,000 copies. She has received grants from the Sherwood Anderson Foundation, Christopher Isherwood Foundation, National Endowment for the Arts and the Maryland State Arts Council....

Brandon Hobson
