Cruel Choices in a Cruel World

Fantasy worlds of dystopia involve characters who face difficult choices within worlds that are cruel and inequitable, where discovery involves harsh consequences. This is highlighted in the worlds created in "The Belles" by Dhonielle Clayton, "Everless" by Sara Holland and "Dealing in Dreams" by Lilliam Rivera.
