Trees Have Feelings

Ravina the All Wrong Raven is a modern fable in verse inspired by Edgar Allan Poe.

Ravina is a brightly colored descendant of Poe’s infamous raven, born into the dark Forest of Nevermore—now ruled by the King of All Ravens.

When the King issues a cruel decree, Ravina is expected to obey. Instead, she refuses.

Told in rhyme, chapter and verse, Ravina is a dark and whimsical story about courage, kindness, and standing up to authority when it demands the surrender of one’s heart. The story weaves in subtle nods to Poe and other classic works of literature, offering young readers an introduction to the classics and inviting adults to discover deeper meaning.

Be Kind. Stay Fierce.
