Simmons Buntin is the author of Satellite: Essays on Fatherhood and Home, Near and Far and the poetry collections Riverfall and Bloom; as well as co-author of Unsprawl: Remixing Spaces as Places and co-editor of Dear America: Letters of Hope, Habitat, Defiance, and Democracy. He is the founding editor-in-chief of the world’s first online literary journal of place, Terrain.org; the president of the nonprofit Terrain Publishing; and a director of marketing and communications at the University of Arizona. He lives in Tucson.
