Ofelia Zepeda


Ofelia Zepeda, Regents’ Professor, University of Arizona, is a member of the Tohono O’odham Nation. She has published three books of poetry, "Ocean Power: Poems from the Desert," Jewed I-hoi/Earth Movements" and "Where Clouds are Formed." She writes in her first language, Tohono O’odham, and English. She is currently the series editor of Sun Tracks, a book series publishing Native American writers through the University of Arizona Press and is director of the American Indian Language Development Institute (AILDI).
