Nancy C. Sack

Nancy Sack is an educator, a writer and a photographer. Her poetry and prose are published in the National Council of Teachers of English author’s gallery. She has two books self-published "Musing along the Ike," a contemporary adult book of poetry and prose, and a children’s book, "Puppies and Poems." Both are listed online at Outskirts Press, Amazon and Barnes and Noble. "Musing along the Ike" is approved and taught as a supplemental text in Township High School District 211. She presents "Musing along the Ike"in local high schools, at writing seminars and at library book discussions. Passionate about children's literacy, Nancy gives interactive children’s presentations and book signings with her children’s book "Puppies and Poems" to pre-schoolers and first graders. Currently, Nancy and her King Charles Cavalier Ollie volunteer with the non-profit Sit Stay Read Program where they assist Chicago Public School children with their reading and writing skills. Nancy is also involved in the Chicago area storytelling community. Nancy has a collection of nature photography that celebrates the beautiful topography of the United States.
