Matthew Cordell

Matthew Cordell is the author and illustrator of "Wish," a New York Times Notable picture book, and most recently, "Wolf in the Snow." He has illustrated numerous books by renowned authors including Philip C. Stead ("Special Delivery"), Rachel Vail (the Justin Case series), and Gail Carson Levine ("Forgive Me, I Meant to Do It: False Apology Poems"). He lives outside of Chicago with his wife, author Julie Halpern, and their two children.
