James E Odenkirk Dr.

James E. Odenkirk, a native of Ohio, is professor emeritus from Arizona State University. He is author of three books and numerous published articles on sports and recent American history. A dedicated fan of the Cleveland Indian, with a tryout for the team in 1950, Odenkirk's recent book on the history of the Cleveland franchise, "Of Tribes and Tribulations: The Early Decades of the Cleveland Indians" has received excellent reviews.
