Patricia L. Brooks is an award-winning author, speaker, publishing consultant and advocate.
Her most recent memoir "Three Husbands and a Thousand Boyfriends" addresses love addiction, domestic violence and post-traumatic stress, topics on which she frequently speaks with her advocacy for women.
She created the Scottsdale Society of Women Writers in 2005, and is its president. She is also a member of the AZ Authors Association, the Phoenix Writers Club and the Willamette Writers. She founded Brooks Goldmann Publishing Company, LLC over 10 years ago.
Her first memoir, "Gifts of Sisterhood: Journey from Grief to Gratitude," earned a prestigious AZ Authors Association Literary Contest Non-fiction award. She is currently writing her third memoir honoring her spiritual transformation.
She has lived in AZ for 40 years and considers herself a native, although she left her heart at the Straits of Mackinac in the upper peninsula of Michigan. She is married to her business partner, Earl L. Goldmann, also a writer.
