Coy G Theobalt

Coy Theobalt has done many things in his life to date. From being a carpenter, painter, teacher, coach, mentor, psychotherapist, etc. His eclectic life led him to eventually become a sailboat captain at the ripe age of 50. His passion for sailing began on the many lakes around his home town of Hot Spring's Arkansas. Coy's life has been filled with many adventures but none quite as dramatic as leaving the corporate world to live his lifelong dream of becoming a captain.

Coy combines his life skills from being a psychotherapist for more than 20 years with his adventures aboard his beloved boat, Gypsy Wind, to offer his readers a glimpse into the life of a boat captain as well as all the life lessons learned along the way.

Coy currently lives full time aboard his land yacht, Andiamo, with his life partner, Charlotte, and dog Jojo. They continue to sail at least twice a year aboard their new boat Reef Song.
