Jared Kuritz has been an active part of the ever-changing publishing landscape for nearly two decades. Jared is a managing partner of STRATEGIES, a firm that focuses on literary development, publishing, business modeling, marketing, and public relations for traditional, small press, and self-published authors of all genres at any stage of their writing, publishing and promotional journey. Jared is also the director of the 17th annual La Jolla Writers Conference—an interactive and intimate, 3-day immersion dedicated to teaching authors about the art, craft, and business of writing. Jared and his firm also manage NightStand Press, a publishing house dedicated to bringing excellent books to the marketplace. Jared frequently teaches on publishing, business development for authors, and PR and marketing at UCSD, BEA, APSS and Publishing University.
