Betty Fulcomer Mrs.

If I read "My Friend Kate is a Forest Ranger," will I know everything there is to know about that job?

Of course not! But your visit with Kate in the Apache Sitgreaves National Forest in north central Arizona will take you to places in the forest you haven't known about. When you look at a photograph and a question comes into your mind you'll probably read that question and Voila! Your question is answered.

Writing and illustration nonfiction books for kids is just one way to link life experiences with reading. Betty is the Co-Director of the all-volunteer Pinedale Public Library in Pinedale, Arizona.
