Geneva Escobedo retired from Pima Community College in 2016 and enjoyed a 30-year career in higher education. She writes poetry and short stories and is a member of Rincon Writers. Her writings cover Mexican culture, family traditions and values, and spirituality.
"Dichos de me Padre" is her first book. Her poetry is published in a woman's anthology, "Our Spirit, Our Reality: celebrating our stories" and in SandsScript art & literature and Cababi Art & Literary Magazine.
She received her B.S.B.A. from Arizona State University and M.B.A. from the University of Phoenix.
