Dick Totino

Richard (Dick) Totino was raised on an apple farm in the town of Marlboro, N.Y. His small town roots and values have guided him throughout his life. Although he has traveled extensively, he still considers himself a small-town boy with small-town values. After his enlistment in the U.S.Army, he spent most of his working career in international sales and marketing. His extensive travel taught him that "people everywhere are as open and friendly as you give them the opportunity to be."

Together with his wife Sharon, Dick now resides in North Carolina. Their combined family of eight children and five grandchildren provide them with plenty to do. "Seems like there's a birthday every week". An avid hunter and outdoorsman, he looks to his experiences to enhance his writing.

Dick has been active in a number of civic and veteran organizations such as Knights of Columbus, D.A.V., American Legion and he is particularly proud of his efforts with the Lower Adirondack Search and Rescue team.
