Amber Wanielista

Born in Moab, Utah, Amber Victoria was introduced to art at an early age, when her parents moved to Florida and art became a daily activity. She attended a visual and performing arts school where she recognized her artistic strengths and receiving a scholarship for Carnegie Mellon University. Theatre gave her strength in her courage in her artistic visions.

She attended art school in England where she learned from the best illustrators and story book authors. She loves a great story, always meandering through historical haunts for classic writers of fairy tales where the stories compelled her to venture into her own magical worlds. When she returned to Phoenix, Arizona she completed a degree at NAU and spent most of her career as a concept designer/illustrator for architects, the theatre and selling her own artistic work. Something kept her up at night with all the stories buzzing around in her head and never hitting the bookshelves. So she completed and published her first novel in 2014. First and foremost she is an artist and secondly a story teller.

Her book is more of an independent production of youth literature while touching on real issues with accelerated vocabulary. In the kindest way her illustrations and writings direct a wonderful tale of history, music, art and friendships.
