Dr. Jana Rivers-Norton has been a college instructor for more than 25 years. She has taught undergraduate and graduate courses in psychology, gender studies, the psychology of creativity and narrative as therapeutic disclosure. Her numerous peer reviewed articles focus on creativity, mythos, trauma and abuse, the literary arts, gender and writing. Dr. Norton currently teaches at Cochise College as a full time faculty in English and Psychology. "The Demeter-Persephone Myth as Writing Ritual" is her second book. Her next book, "Transcending the Tragedy of Medea in Life, Love and the Literary Arts" will be published by Cambridge Scholars Publishing in May 2019.
