Enrique Feldman


Enrique Feldman is an Artist and Educator who’s influence is worldwide. Born in Tucson, Arizona and raised both in Tucson and San Diego, his mother Victoria was his first musical influence as a vocalist. His highlights include:

*Keynote for 2017 ILA (International Literacy Association), NYSAEYC (New York State Association for the Education of Young Children), and NCAEYC (North Carolina Association for the Education of Young Children)

*Founder and Director of Education, F.A.M.E. Foundation

*Co-Founder of Context Method

*Senior Facilitator for Arts Integration Solutions

*Redleaf Press author of “Living Like a Child”

*2-Time Grammy Nominated Composer and Artist

*Co-Producer of the theatrical show “Dancing in the Universe”

*Adaptive Editor of Children’s Books for Make a Hand (www.makeahand.com)

Enrique founded the F.A.M.E. Foundation in 2000 and since that time, this non-profit education organization has served over 70,000 children and families. F.A.M.E. (Fostering Arts-Mind Education) is a leader in artistic, creative, and innovative professional development, and is recognized as successful by the National Endowment for the Arts. The majority of the focus of this organization is in Early Childhood Education. Enrique delivers many keynotes and workshops globally and has presented at the NAEYC conferences for 11 consecutive years. Together with his team of world class educators, and their partner organizations, they foster sustainable educational models which have been statistically proven to improve how young learners engage and succeed.

As an artist, Enrique is a film composer (Gun Hill Road/Cruzando), pianist and producer. He is a former professor of music and education at the University of Arizona and the University of Wisconsin. Together with his wife, Marie Sierra, they raise their children Nick (16) and Samantha (20).

Co-Author, Sam Sierra-Feldman, is a senior at the University of Arizona in vocal studies and creative writing. She is the Director of the Children's Chorus at St. Phillips in the Hills and the Assistant Conductor for the Tucson Girls Chorus Bumblebee Choir. Sam is also a member and soloist for the Helios Ensemble and has sung with the Tucson Symphony Orchestra Chorus.

Illustrator, Abe Mendoza, is a native of Tucson and will be creating live illustrations at the Children's Books Author Pavilion on Saturday from 2:30 - 4:30 pm, aside both co-authors.
