Becky Masterman


Becky Masterman's debut crime novel "Rage Against the Dying" received rave reviews in media such as the New York Times and NPR. It was shortlisted for Britain's Gold Dagger Award, and nominated for the Edgar Award for best first novel. Readers most enjoy the strong boomer protagonist Brigid Quinn. Her sequel, "Fear the Darkness" brought her even more fans. The third book in the series, "A Twist of the Knife," will be released March 14, 2017 and asks,"How far will you go to see justice served?"

BECKY MASTERMAN, who was an acquisitions editor for a press specializing in medical textbooks for forensic examiners and law enforcement, received her M.A. in creative writing from Florida Atlantic University. Her debut thriller, "Rage Against the Dying," was a finalist for the Edgar Award for Best First Novel, the CWA Gold Dagger Award for Best Crime Novel of 2013, as well as the Macavity, Barry, and Anthony awards. Becky lives in Tucson, Arizona, with her husband.
