Patricia K Batta

When her fourth grade teacher asked the class to write a story, Patricia K. Batta (Pat) was hooked. She wanted to do this forever. But first she became an elementary teacher. A stint as an editorial assistant on a magazine rekindled her desire and sharpened her skills. She finally retired at age 57 in order to concentrate on writing and has since completed six books in the Marge Christensen Mystery Series and is working on a spinoff series set in the mountains of northwest Arizona.
