Alice Hoffman returns to the festival with two new novels, "Faithful," newly out in hardcover, and "The Marriage of Opposites," now in paperback. Her novel "The Dovekeepers" was adapted as a miniseries by CBS and aired in March, 2015. Highlights include Oprah Book Club choice "Here on Earth," Practical Magic," subsequently made into a film starring Sandra Bullock; and "The Dovekeepers," praised by Toni Morrison as "beautiful, harrowing, a major contribution to twenty-first century literature."
