Lisa Belkin


Lisa Belkin is a former New York Times reporter who now teaches at the Columbia School of Journalism and authors narrative nonfiction. Her most recent book, "Genealogy of a Murder," explores the killing of a police officer in Connecticut in 1960. "Show Me a Hero" revealed the many challenges of building new public housing in existing neighborhoods.  This is her first appearance at the Tucson Festival of Books.
