Angela Rose is a sculptor, painter, jewelry maker and installation artist. Her work often draws inspiration from nature and impermanence, from what falls from trees and washes to shore. She seeks to foster creativity as a way of daily living...in the kitchen, in the garden, in the dressing room and in the town square.
She has collaborated on permanent and ephemeral art commissions since the 1990s in Tucson, AZ. Redlineselfie, one of her large-scale installations, was commissioned by the Cape Cod Museum of Art in 2015. In recent years, she has presented performance art in the plaza in Siena, the streets of New York City, the mall in Washington DC and the open-air fashion center in Tucson. She lives in Tucson and Provincetown.
Mary Kane is the author of several poetry chapbooks, one full-length poetry collection, "Door" (One Bird Books, 2015), and the story collection "In the Book I'm Reading" (One Bird Books, 2023). Her poetry and stories have appeared in numerous journals, including Beloit Poetry Journal, FRiGG, Smokelong Quarterly and Poetry Daily. She lives on Cape Cod, where she walks, reads, makes envelopes, teaches, writes and engages in creative collaborations.
"122 Days" represents her first extended collaboration and a celebration of daily practice.
