David Daley's third book, "Antidemocratic," recounts the 50-year campaign by the Republican right to roll back the Voting Rights Act of 1965. A key participant in that movement was John Roberts, now Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. Daley also authored  "Ratf**ked," which addresses gerrymandering, and "Unrigged." David is the former editor-in-chief of Salon, and he frequently discusses voting right on CNN, NPR and MSNBC. He now lives in Massachusetts.

In this session, authors Amanda Becker, David Daley and Jonathan Turley will discuss some of the First Amendment freedoms that are now under fire. Voting rights, abortion access, and threats to free speech should give them plenty to talk about.
