Sarah Jones' book, "Disposable," is an in-depth personal narrative combined with reporting that exposes the cruelty of America's racial and income inequality and the shattering effect that COVID-19 has had on our most vulnerable. Jones is a senior writer for New York Magazine, where she covers politics and religion. Previously a staff writer for The New Republic, her work has also been published by The Nation, The Columbia Journalism Review and Dissent magazine.
