Jack McCallum was a senior writer at Sports Illustrated for more than 30 years and remains a contributing writer at the magazine. He is known primarily for his coverage of the National Basketball Association but covered a variety of other sports and also edited the Scorecard section of the magazine. He is the author of 12 books, including the New York Times best-seller "Dream Team," the recently released "The Real Hoosiers," a novel and a book about prostate cancer.
