Mary Ann Carman is the author of nine novels. Her latest, "Something Blue," is the fourth in her Love After Life series, a contemporary cozy mystery series with a paranormal twist. Hint – one of the main characters is a ghost!
As a registered nurse then a realtor, Carman wrote her historical romance trilogy starting in 1997. The first book, "Never To Love," was published in 2003. That same year it won an Honorable Mention in the Jada Romance Novel of the Year Contest.
She stopped writing for a few years, then over the past four-plus while working as an administrative assistant for a local nonprofit she produced her six contemporary mysteries, two of which are fantasy.
Carman has been on the board of directors for the Society of Southwestern Authors for the past three years, these two years as president. She is working on her tenth book, the last of the Love After Life series and now bills herself as a cross-genre mystery author.
