Cynthia Levinson (she/her/hers)
Cynthia Levinson is the award-winning author of numerous nonfiction books for young readers and the winner of the Robert F. Sibert Medal, the Carter G. Woodson Book Award, the Jane Addams Book Award, and an NAACP Image Award honor. A former teacher and education policy expert, she writes about history, law, policy, and social justice, even in space. Her latest book, “Who Owns the Moon?” explores cooperation and equity beyond Earth’s bounds. She divides her time between Austin and Boston.
