Heidi E. Blankenship Ms.



Poet, wilderness ranger, artist, and wanderer, Heidi Elizabeth Blankenship is a native of Utah but currently resides among the creosote and saguaro in Southeast Arizona. She is the author of Stone Wishes on the Colorado Plateau (Legacy Book Press, 2019), poetry with photographs by Michael Salamacha, and Memorizing Shadows: Inspiration from the Arizona Trail (Shanti Arts, 2017), a compilation of poetry and artwork from her Arizona Trail thru-hike. She is the poetry editor for Deep Wild Journal: Writing from the Backcountry, whose inaugural edition was printed in June of 2019.
