Kate Titus is a Certified Canine Fitness Trainer (CCFT), FitPAWS Master Trainer (FPMT), and Certified Canine Therapeutic and Sports Massage Therapist (CTMT, CSMT).

In 2008, Titus founded a unique offering--A Loyal Companion--to provide massage, exercise and mobility solutions for senior dogs. In 2015, she opened the first canine fitness and mobility facility in Arizona, featuring an indoor swimming pool and complete dog gym. Since then, more than 1,500 dogs and their pet parents have come through the doors in Tucson.

In addition, Titus lectures to groups on mobility issues for dogs of all ages, challenges facing senior dogs, fitness for everyday movement, and the benefits and practical use of massage for dogs. Her work has appeared in various publications, including on thebark.com, a website for the popular national dog culture magazine, The Bark.

Currently, she's a board member and past chairperson with Gabriel's Angels where she had been a therapy team volunteer with Harley. Gabriel's Angels is a nonprofit that provides pet therapy for at-risk children in Arizona.

Titus is the author of "Sit. Stand. Go!: How to Help Your Dog Overcome Mobility Challenges." Her next book, "Emotion to Motion: How the Mind Impacts Your Dog's Mobility" will be released by Dudley Court Press in September 2020.

Titus loves and lives with her Chief Mobility Officer, a joyful rat terrier named Half Moon and an athletic boxer named Helen.
