William "Bill" Thomas Lynam


Bill Lynam taught in New York. He is the author of Arizona histories for a local newspaper and fiction and non-fiction articles for various magazines. His "Steampunk Mashup," a collection of science fiction short stories was published in 2017 on Amazon and Kindle. He co-authored "Footloose Pilgrims," a coming of age travelogue about hitch-hiking, bicycling and mopeding in Europe with further travels in North Africa, South and Central Americas, published in 2014 and available on Amazon and Kindle.

Hot off the press is "Bernie, The Flying Squirrel" published February 2018. This full-color, illustrated children’s book for four to eight-year-olds, features Bernie, who gets into trouble while flying. With the help of his girlfriend and his mother, he not only gets out of trouble, he goes on to win a prize.

"Lucky Foxes," an early readers chapter book by Eleanor Maroney and edited by Bill Lynam is about two red foxes—Tommy and Tina, who by good fortune, find gold.

In the works, is a historical novel—"The Confederate Canuck"—about a Canadian lumberman who rafts down the Mississippi River looking for adventure and finds more than he bargains for during the Civil War as an officer for the South.
