Susan Page


Susan Page is the award-winning Washington bureau chief of USA Today, where she writes about politics and the White House. Page has covered eleven presidential elections and is now covering her seventh White House administration. She has interviewed the past ten presidents, from Richard Nixon through Joe Biden, and reported from six continents and dozens of foreign countries. In 2020, she moderated the vice presidential debate between Mike Pence and Kamala Harris. She has appeared as an analyst on ABC’s This Week, CBS’ Face the Nation, CNN’s State of the Union, Fox News Sunday, NBC’s Meet the Press, PBS’ NewsHour and other TV and radio programs. Her first book, "The Matriarch: Barbara Bush and the Making of an American Dynasty," was a New York Times best-seller. Her new book is "Madam Speaker: Nancy Pelosi and the Lessons of Power."
