Jen Bryant

Jen Bryant writes picture books, novels and poems for readers of all ages. Her books have received the Sibert Medal, two Caldecott Honors, two Schneider Family Book Awards, the Orbis Pictus Award and a Charlotte Zolotow Honor. Bryant's most recent book, "Feed Your Mind — A Story of August Wilson," is illustrated by Cannaday Chapman and tells the story of how the famous playwright found his voice and wrote his 10-play cycle based on his childhood home in the Hill District of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Bryant lives with her family in southeastern Pennsylvania, where she tries to be an optimistic Phillies fan.
