Jude Joffe-Block is a journalist who has worked in the Phoenix bureau of the Associated Press since 2020.  Her first book, "Driving While Brown," looks at the movement that ultimately ousted Sheriff Joe Arpaio. Before joining the AP, Joffe-Block reported on immigration for more than a decade for outlets that included NPR and the Guardian.
