Jude Joffe-Block is a journalist and audio producer based in Phoenix. She is the co-author of "Driving While Brown: Sheriff Joe Arpaio versus the Latino Resistance," which chronicles Arpaio's unprecedented immigration crackdown as sheriff of Arizona's Maricopa County, and the Latino-led movement that ultimately took him down. Joffe-Block has reported for outlets that include the AP, Guardian and NPR. She is a former visiting journalist at the Russell Sage Foundation and a former fellow with New America and the Logan Nonfiction Program.
