Vicki Riske has always been interested in puppetry which plays a part in the storytelling of her books, among them "The New Polka Dot Tea Party," "My Teeth Are Too Big," "Fishy Tales" and "Grandma Bibi." Sonia Elizabeth Soto has translated many of Riske's books to Spanish like, "Dear Grandma and Grandpa/Queridos Abuelos." Soto is a bilingual family childcare specialist with the Family, Friend and Neighbor program in Phoenix. Other translations into Spanish include "La Abuela Bibi" and "Los Pececitos Aventureros."
