Katherine Applegate is the number one New York Times bestselling author of beloved and award-winning books for young readers, including "Home of the Brave," "Crenshaw," "Wishtree," "Willodeen," "Odder" and "The One and Only Ivan," for which she won the Newbery Medal. She is also the author of the Animorphs series, and a beginning reader series, Doggo and Pupper, illustrated by Charlie Alder. Applegate lives in Southern California with her family.

All Things Dog
Two well-known authors invite children into a shared love of all things dogs. William Bruce Cameron is the author of the adult novel, "A Dog's Purpose," and a series of early chapter books, Puppy Tales, about rescue and special needs dogs. Katherine Applegate, the author of "The One and Only Ivan," has created a new early chapter book series, Doggo and Popper, about an older dog who is unsure about the energetic new puppy in his household.
