Tucson Festival of Books

Emily Michel (she/her)

Emily Michel read her first fairy tale before kindergarten and has been fascinated with speculative fiction of all kinds ever since. She’s traveled the world as a military family member, calling many places in the US and Europe home. She settled in Arizona a few years ago with her husband and kids.
When not writing, Michel reads, walks, crochets and pets her feline overlords. Occasionally, her husband drags her out of the house for her own good. Her book is "A Redemption of Wings."

Over 215 authors self-nominated and submitted a book for review for our Reimagined Indie Author Experience.  Teams of genre judges read every book which resulted in the following Indie Authors being invited to participate on a Presenting Author Panel during the 2024 Tucson Festival of Books. Congratulations to all!
