Jennifer A. Nielsen is the #1 New York Times and USA Today best-selling author of the "Ascendance" Series, "The Traitor's Game," the "Mark of the Thief" trilogy, the standalone fantasy "The Scourge" and the critically-acclaimed historical thrillers "A Night Divided," "Resistance," "Words on Fire," "Rescue," "Lines of Courage," "Iceberg" and "Uprising," which releases March 5th, 2024. Jennifer collects old books, loves good theater and thinks that a quiet afternoon in the mountains makes for a nearly perfect moment. She lives in northern Utah with her family.

Meet a bunch of authors in 60 minutes as they share their new books filled with action and adventure. Each author will be seated at a table to talk with a small group about their newest book. Every eight minutes the authors will rotate to a new table in our version of author speed-dating.

When facing difficult situations, children need courage and a bold heart to engage in resistance to create change. Sayantani DasGupta's Secrets of the Sky series is set in a fantasy world dealing with climate change, while Dan Gemeinhart's "The Midnight Children" is a realistic fiction novel that involves a mystery of six runaway children, and Jennifer Nielson focuses on Polish resistance in the Warsaw Ghetto during the Holocaust in "Uprising."
