Bernie Sanders is serving his third term in the U.S. Senate and is the longest-serving Independent member of Congress in American history. As Chair of the Senate Budget Committee, he successfully led the passage of the American Rescue Plan. He now serves as Chair of the Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee, where he leads the fight for Medicare for All. He sits on the Environment and Public Works Committee, where he has focused on global warming and rebuilding our nation’s crumbling infrastructure. His latest book is entitled "It's OK to be Angry About Capitalism," which was released Feb. 21.
Senator Sanders will not be signing books after his presentation, but plans to take selfies with those who buy books.
