Tennison Black is the author of "Survival Strategies," award winner of the National Poetry Series and editor of "A Body You Talk To: An Anthology of Contemporary Disability." They received their Master of Fine Arts at Arizona State University, where they learned poetics from Alberto Ríos, Cynthia Hogue and the late Norman Dubie. They are the managing editor of Sundress Publications and Best of the Net. Sonoran born and raised, Black currently lives in Washington State and teaches at Arizona State University.
