Miles Taylor is a national security expert who works in Washington, D.C. Taylor previously served as chief of staff at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, where he published an anonymous essay in The New York Times titled "A Warning," blowing the whistle on presidential misconduct. His new book is "Blowback."
He has worked as an advisor in the George W. Bush administration, on Capitol Hill, as a CNN contributor and he is the cofounder of a D.C.-based charter school and multiple democracy-reform groups. A longtime conservative national security commentator, he is now a political independent. Taylor received his Master of Philosphy in international relations from Oxford University as a Marshall Scholar and Bacholor of Arts from Indiana University as a Harry S. Truman scholar.
